On September 21, 2019, we had the distinct honour to be allowed to participate and demonstrate in an excellent event hosted by Renison University College at the University of Waterloo entitled the “One Sky Festival”.

Join us to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the One Sky Festival at Renison University College. This FREE community event is perfect for families and will include live music, dance performances, local delicacies, and face painting!

When: 11am – 2pm
Where: Renison University College (240 Westmount Rd N, Waterloo)
This Festival is part of the University of Waterloo’s Reunion 2019 Weekend.
They had an interesting and exotic line-up of performers and performances for this special 25th anniversary event:
It was our first time performing for this event so it was really special.
For the audience, they were being treated to a showcase of some of the most famous classical styles of swordsmanship in Japanese history.
And the reaction from our new friends was overwhelmingly positive.
Our demonstration for the One Sky Festival 2019 was a great success. It was truly an historic event, being our first time.
And hopefully it will see us participate in this event more in the future.
