On March 2, 2019, the Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre in Toronto held its annual Spring Festival which is called Haru Matsuri. Once again, we were blessed to be allowed to participate in this wonderful celebration of Japanese culture and tradition.
This year, we needed to film our progress in our studies. Consequently, we had only three groups participating: Yagyu Shingan Ryu Taijutsu, Ono-ha Itto Ryu, and Yagyu Shinkage Ryu Heiho.
The audience got to see some great demonstrations from these famous koryu styles.

Haru Matsuri 2019 was another unforgettable experience. Great job everyone! And a big thank you to the terrific people at the JCCC for allowing us to share in this important festival. We always enjoy the experience! 🙏
